Founded in 1997 under the anointed direction of Pastor B.J. Relefourd.  Women of Power has developed into a power-filled network of women globally.

Women of Power extends moves beyond the standard normalcy, and travels in the mode of excellency.

Women of Power hosts an Annual Women's Weekend in Metropolitan Atlanta, as well as has WOP Directors in several parts of the country.

The Lady Leader Breakfast is geared to provoke Leaders while providing education, and illumination of skills and technology.

WOP provides 24 access for prayer, inspiration and encouragement via Social Media, YouTube, The WOP App, and through this WOP Website.

 Dr. BJ Relefourd, Founder/CEO

Pastor BJ has authored several books, including HIDDEN, which was produced as a stage play written by Clayborn and Tracy Knight and produced by Holy Knight Productions.  She  Co-Hosted WATC-TV’s  Gospel Touch, which reached over 2 million viewers for 10 years.  She is a syndicated columnist for several  magazines and her articles have been featured throughout the nation and abroad and currently,  is the host of Walking In Power-Blog Talk Radio.   Pastor B.J. was the keynote speaker in Washington, D.C. and entered the Oval Office of the White House to pray for our troops. Dr. Relefourd was awarded the  Women’s Legacy Award by the Legacy Pageants, Inc. and was nominated as one of Gwinnett County’s leading Legacy leaders for her numerous volunteer efforts.  Dr. Relefourd was presented the prestigious Balanced Woman Of Atlanta and most recently received the  Esther Award by the National Coalition of Women in Ministry.

Dr. Relefourd is the founder and visionary of Women Of Power, an organization which is reaching across continents to instill, inspire and illuminate women to their God given power within.  .  Dr. Relefourd writes a monthly Blog-The Lady Is a Leader (www.pastorbj.wordpress.com).  Dr. Relefourd is Co-Founder of Vision Alliance Ministerial Training Institute an accredited school of ministry.

 

Dr. Relefourd is a volunteer with the American Cancer Society, Gwinnett Extended Care, serves in a ministerial capacity in the Gwinnett Detention Center and is a mentor to men and women globally. Dr. Relefourd is featured on the American Cancer Society’s 2009 and 2 All Our Hero’s video in which she shares her story as a breast cancer survivor and she served as the first opening speaker of the 2009 ACS Relay For Life.  (www.allareourheroes.com). In addition, Dr. Relefourd is featured on the 2010, ”We Light A Candle” project, one of the finalists during the 2010 Hollywood Film Festival.  Dr. Relefourd is also featured on the 2012 Faith On Project to increase awareness of cancer.

She and her husband, Rev. Marion K. Relefourd, are the co-founders of Vision of Life Ministries, Inc. in Lawrenceville, GA, a non-denominational, multi-cultural ministry. The ministry was  featured on TBN as a ministry where,”God is shining His Light”.  They are also the founders of Vision Global Alliance; a spiritual covering for ministry shepherds.

They are the proud parents of Keith (Karisha) Relefourd and Kia Relefourd and the grandparents of KaShayla, Kadin  and Kelin Relefourd. As his “helpmeet”, she is in submission to her husband of  over 33 years.  Pastor B. J. realizes that the Lord has allowed her to be used humbly in His kingdom.  When asked what her greatest accomplishment is, her response is “After dedicating my life to Christ, I am most honored being the wife, mother and “Nana” of the Relefourd household.”
